About
THE MIDWEST REGIONAL ENGINEERING SKILLNET evolved as a result of a group of private enterprises and five county enterprise boards identifying a need for further training and development within the engineering sector in the Midwest.
Limerick County, Limerick city, Kerry, Clare and the North Tipperary Enterprise boards successfully submitted an application for a development grant on behalf of the engineering businesses in September 2007.
Having established the value of training, the Midwest Regional Engineering SkillNet are expanding our membership to include additional regional engineering businesses. What we offer is tailored, specific and practical training for both the employees and owner/managers so they can respond to current and future market threats and be more competitive in ever more difficult markets.
The membership falls into the following categories:
- Manufacturing
- Engineering/Electrical
- Tool & Moldmaking
- Welding
- Precision Engineering
